How do you shake your Monkey?

To start your Monkey creation, blend ½ cup Monkey Shake mix with 1 cup (8 oz) of liquid, usually milk or juice. From there, you can add fruit, peanut butter, or whatever you’re craving. Go bananas! For inspiration, here are some recipes we whipped up in our Monkey Lab.

Original Monkey

Our original flavor is light and mildly sweet, perfect for use with tropical fruits or juices. For maximum refreshment, use frozen fruit or add a couple of ice cubes.

  • Classic Monkey: mix, milk, 1 banana
  • Elvis Monkey: mix, milk, 1 banana, 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • Strawberry “Dole Whip” Monkey: mix, water*, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • Pine-Orange-Mango Monkey: mix, orange juice, ½ cup frozen pineapple, ½ cup frozen mango

*Use Zico coconut water for delicious results

Cocoa Monkey

Every monkey’s sweet tooth is different. Cocoa Monkey mix has no added sugar so you can adjust your beverage to your taste. For best results, we strongly recommend blending the Cocoa Monkey mix with a milk base. Use sweeter fruits like bananas, or add honey, to bring out that rich cocoa flavor.

  • Cocoa Classic Monkey: mix, milk, 1 banana
  • Cocoa Elvis Monkey: mix, milk, 1 banana, 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • Black-Eyed Susan Monkey: mix, milk, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 ½ tsp honey
